Venier Oblique Dip Pen Set, Beech/Bronze

Created in collaboration with local calligraphers in Venice, the Venier Oblique Dip Pen Set is designed for professional, long-term use. Many calligraphers and hand-lettering practitioners prefer the oblique pen, which naturally suits italic lettering but also has benefits in ergonomics and pressure distribution. The nib is held in place by a small set screw, so you can mount almost any type of pen in this holder.

The Venier pen holder is made from white bronze and varnished beech, with a center of gravity near the nib thanks to the metal hardware located there. Three vintage metal nibs are included—a random selection from Bortoletti's stock of European steel pens from midcentury.

Finally, this gift-ready set features a 30 mL bottle of Bortoletti Hamburg Calligraphy Ink in black. This free-flowing, intensely colored ink is perfect for metal and glass nibs.

This set measures approx. 10" x 3.5" x 1.5". The pen measures 6.75" without a nib installed; the final length depends on your choice of nib.
