- Gansai Tambi watercolor set, 12 soft colors
Now Kuretake's popular Gansai Tambi watercolors come in a soft colors set of 12! It's a great complement to a classic watercolor set because it offers shortcuts to mixing skin tones and nature colors. Try using the top six pans for botanicals, seascapes and skies and the bottom six for people, clothing, and buildings.
Traditional Japanese watercolors are more opaque than Western transparent colors, making them simpler to use and a more direct medium for quick sketches. If you need more transparency for a particular project, just add more water and Gansai Tambi can also create lighter washes.Ā These luminous solid watercolors are perfect for illustration and botanical sketching. Made in Japan and packaged in an elegant, textured green box with gold foil stamp.
Looking for a watercolor journal to go with your new Gansai Tambi? We make the perfect one right here in the shop.
These colors are also part of the extra large 48 color Gansai Tambi set.
