Big John is the very first Japanese denim brand, manufacturing jeans since 1965 and still revered by denim enthusiasts today for their extraordinary selvage. While American denim brands moved production overseas and allowed quality to decline, Big John stuck to the original ethos of denim made for hard wear and long life. For the last half-century, the company has improved and refined its signature denim, invested in skilled Japanese workers, and developed a reputation for the very highest quality. Big John still makes denim with traditional shuttle looms, despite their lower speed, because they are able to produce a stronger weave.
This striking indigo pen pouch is made in Japan with the same materials as Big John jeans. Fabric remnants from jeans production are given a second life by these smaller products made on the same production lines, reducing waste and environmental impact. This pen roll is outfitted with an extra-heavy-duty YKK zipper with leather pull, deep indigo dyed denim with white interior, a denim loop on the side for attaching a keychain or carabiner, and strong, skilled stitching. It's finished with a classic Big John logo patch.
This big pen and pencil pouch measures 8.25" wide by 4.1" tall by 1.4" deep. It's roomy enough for dozens of pens and pencils, or you can use it to hold small art sets like travel watercolor tins and boxes of pastels. Go ahead and stuff it full, because the heavy zipper and high-quality materials can handle being stretched and tossed around.
Please note that the zipper pull comes in several colors depending on the leather remnants available at the factory. We cannot guarantee a specific zipper pull color.

For orders under $59, domestic shipping rates start at $4.50. You can calculate your shipping cost in the cart or at checkout. For St. Louis residents, we also offer free curbside pickup. If there's a problem with your order, please contact our customer service team at email@example.com. If your order is damaged or defective, we will send you a prepaid return label and replace the item immediately. If you change your mind about an order, you can ship it back to us in new condition for a refund or exchange. However, if there is no error on our part, we cannot refund shipping charges or pay for return shipping. The deadline for all returns is 30 days from the delivery date. All clearance items, dated calendars and planners, and grab bags are non-refundable.
