About This Product
Hahnemühle Brittania is a strong, stable surface for watercolor painting, mixed media, and ink drawing. We selected this pad because we wanted a surface that could handle both water-based media and the most demanding drawing tools, like metal dip pens.
Highly erasable and suitable for lifting, scrubbing, and layering. The cold press finish gives your work a bit of texture, but doesn't cause skipping or clogging with your dip pen or fountain pen.
Brittania paper is bound in a block—that means it's glued on all four sides, so it can't warp while wet. Wait for your work to dry completely, then insert a palette knife or thin ruler in the gap provided and cut your sheet off the block.
300 gsm (140#) paper weight. Cold press (textured) finish. Twelve sheets per block.
