Ceramic Brush Rest, House

This friendly stoneware brush rest is made in the Mino region, the historical heart of Japanese pottery and the source of 50% of all ceramics made in Japan today. It's shaped like a little brown house, so you can rest your brush on the flat part of the roof, using the gable roof as a backstop.

The top is glazed for easy cleaning, and the bottom is unglazed so it won't slide around on the table.
