Hahnemühle's Watercolor Book offers a simple, elegant solution for traveling watercolorists, urban sketchers, and landscape painters. Using the well-regarded Hahnemühle Akademie watercolor paper stock and a thread-bound, lay-flat hardcover format, the Watercolor Book is a great combination of technical functionality and aesthetics.
The German-made cold press watercolor paper in these books is highly versatile and well-suited to a wide range of watercolor and drawing techniques. Colors lift easily from the surface, thanks to the sizing applied to this paper. The grain pattern is pronounced enough to make your landscapes look organic, but a fountain pen will still move smoothly across the surface.
A dark red bookmark ribbon is included to help keep your place, and an elastic band holds the cover closed in transit. When you're finished with your Watercolor Book, you can safely and attractively store it on your shelf for years, because it is durable and archival. This makes the Watercolor Book a great choice for casual painters who want a travel keepsake or serious painters who want to be able to reference their sketches later.
Each Watercolor Book contains 30 sheets (60 pages when using both sides) of 200 gsm watercolor paper. Available in A6 and A5 sizes. Made in Germany.
