Spirit of Turpentine, 55 mL

Turpentine, the most traditional oil painting solvent, is an extract of resin from pine trees that is effective in thinning colors and, in larger quantities, creating watercolor-like effects. You can use it alone for the first, thinnest layer of a painting, and in decreasing amounts in combination with oil mediums for thicker layers later on.

Packaged in a 55 mL glass bottle. Made in Japan.
