Honey-Based Medium for Watercolors

This thick, glossy medium from Maimeri is made with natural honey. People have harvested honey from beehives since antiquity, and it was one of the very earliest painting mediums. That makes sense, because honey is just beautiful. Glossy and viscous, with an amber color in the bottle (don't worry, it won't change your paint color), MaimeriBlu Honey-Based Medium imparts a natural glow to your colors.

We recommend adding this medium to any brand of watercolor, a few drops at a time, until you've achieved the desired consistency. Paint mixed with MaimeriBlu Honey-Based Medium should become silky-smooth, sticky, and very shiny. It's easy to make bold, sharp-edged marks with this medium, because it prevents paint from spreading out on its own.
