Procyon Fountain Pen, Persimmon Orange
You Save: $7.00 (11%)
Platinum Procyon is a smooth, precise fountain pen, made of aluminum and coated in five fresh colors. It's quickly become a staff favorite around here because the writing experience is every bit as luxurious as most $100 pens. Platinum is known for pairing Japanese engineering with outstanding value, and Procyon is no exception.
Several thoughtful features are worth pointing out on this impeccably designed pen. The cap is double-threaded (two parallel threads make up the cap's screw closure rather than one long one), so it opens and closes in a flash. A spring-loaded inner cap keeps ink wet for up to a year. And the easily disassembled feed makes Procyon very easy to clean.
Available in fine (approx. 0.5 mm) and medium (approx. 0.7 mm) nib sizes. The fine is much smoother than most pens at a similar width. Made in Japan. Packaged in a Platinum gift box with a blue-black ink cartridge.
