Horadam Watercolors, Limited Edition Ice Blue

This limited edition Horadam watercolor is a blast of cold air in a tube, perfect for painting frost, chilly water, and pale sky. Such a subtle blue tint can be tricky to mix, because the blue pigments' high tinting strength quickly overwhelms the white. So a tube of Ice Blue is a great shortcut when you want a hint of pale, cool blue in your work.

In our studio test, we enjoyed using Ice Blue both for backgrounds and for highlights. It's highly opaque out of the tube, so for cool-toned scenes, you can use it instead of plain white for the brightest areas of your painting.
