The Mitsubishi 9850 graphite writing pencil is stamped "For Office Use," but it's head and shoulders above anything you'd find in an American office. It sharpens to a fine and durable point and smells strongly of cedar. The lines are much darker than a cheap #2 pencil, and the high-quality white rubber eraser removes lines easily. The burgundy lacquer and silver foil text make the 9850 a very attractive pencil, and the smooth surface feels good in your hand. Highly recommended. Two loose pencils. Made in Japan.
