The YSTUDIO STAT-10 Sketching Pencil is made from solid brass and painted with a black matte lacquer that's designed to gradually wear off over the years, like the black brass cameras of the 1970s. A few brass edges are strategically left uncoated, so that right from the beginning you can see the metal underneath. And for those who want a weathered look right away, YSTUDIO has included a sheet of sandpaper in each box.

The STAT-10 is a classic 2.0 mm lead holder, compatible with all brands and hardnesses of standard 2.0 mm graphite leads. With a metal clutch, a sharpener built into the back cap, and a satisfying click-to-advance mechanism, the STAT-10 has every premium feature possible for this simple type of pencil.
