Gansai Tambi watercolors are a perfect addition to any desk or studio. Like traditional Japanese watercolor, Gansai Tambi paints are more opaque than Western watercolor, making them an excellent medium for sketching and design. Immediately activated by water, Gansai Tambi colors are creamy and consistent. You can easily draw lines with your brush or make diluted, transparent washes by adding more water.

This travel set of 14 colors comes in a snap-closed plastic box with mixing and storage space built in. Unlike other Gansai Tambi sets, this travel-sized kit features standard half pans rather than large, flat pans. Also included are a Kuretake water brush and a waterproof pigment pen. With these tools, it's simple to create sketches wherever you happen to be.
