These simple notebooks have great paper inside — it's 90 gsm (41 lb.) Clairefontaine writing paper in white, a nice choice for all your usual drawing and writing tasks. The paper is smooth, making this a nice choice for note-taking with a pen. You can also make detailed sketches because the paper is strong and cleanly erasable.
Each Graf It pad comes with a random cover color, including some colors not shown on the website. 80 sheets, perforated at the top and staple-bound to a chipboard backing. Acid-free. Made in France.
About Clairefontaine
There's been a paper mill at Étival-Clairefontaine (in northeast France) since 1512 — it was originally set up by the superior of the local abbey, then modernized and incorporated in 1858 by Clairefontaine's founder, Jean-Baptiste Bichelberger.
Reinvented and rebuilt several times in its centuries-long history, the Clairefontaine brand has always meant fine paper. Originally, the company used locally produced cotton rag in its paper; in the 19th century paper pulp was introduced. In the 20th century, the mill was destroyed (toward the end of World War II), rebuilt under new ownership, and combined with the stationery company Exacompta.
Today, Clairefontaine is part of a growing group of fine-art and stationery brands including Brause, Blockx, Stillman and Birn, and J. Herbin. Among other things, they still manufacture 165,000 tons of paper annually, and production remains in Étival-Clairefontaine.

How quickly will my order ship?
Our St. Louis warehouse team is pretty speedy! We generally ship orders within one business day of receiving them. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order's packed and out the door.
How long will it take to arrive?
We offer shipping estimates for each order at checkout. Please note that these are only our system's best guess — there are many factors that may affect shipping time.
Generally speaking, our parcels take about 2-3 business days to travel to most U.S. addresses once they are shipped.
In a hurry? We offer expedited shipping options, including overnight shipping, at checkout.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We never guarantee delivery dates because carrier delays are not within our control. We do not issue refunds due to delays in transit.
Do you accept returns?
Yes — we accept returns of unopened, undamaged items within 30 days of receipt.
