Made by hand by a small, passionate team of bookbinders, the Klasyk Notebook is a gorgeous hardcover journal with a lay-flat, cloth-covered spine. Each of these notebooks is constructed at the Papierniczeni workshop in Kraków, where the artisans combine heavy-duty bookboard with archival, ultra-smooth paper in a traditional stitched binding.

The dimensions of Klasyk are a worldwide favorite, similar to many bound books: it's 152 x 205 mm (6" x 8.1"). That's perfect for your daily planner, a semester of course notes, or a strategy book for your new project at work. Klasyk fits into almost any bag, but it doesn't feel cramped. The pages open completely flat, allowing expansive sketches and flowcharts to cross right over the journal's spine onto the adjacent page.

The paper in a Klasyk Notebook is 100 gsm, FSC-certified, uncoated stock. It's suitable for most kinds of pens and pencils, including all the common types found in schools and offices. There are 160 pages in each book, all printed with a 5 mm dot grid pattern in light grey.

Klasyk's cover stands out as one of the most refined and elegant in our notebook department. The boards are very thick, allowing the writer to work on the subway or out in a field. They're covered with subtly textured, pleasantly soft paper on the outside, and the book is finished with an oversized cloth spine. Finally, an ochre-colored bookmark ribbon is glued into the spine.
