These heavyweight aluminum straightedges are a valuable tool for anyone who draws. There's a standard ruler on one side, with calibrations in inches and centimeters. On the other side is a handy centering ruler in inches.
To find the center of any line with ease, just put the Center-Finding Straightedge along the line and adjust it until both ends of the line are at matching increments on the ruler. Then mark the center according to the arrow on the bold center guide.
Unlike many rulers, these straightedges are totally rigid, so you can rely on them as straightedges for precise drawing. The markings are not simply painted on but photo anodized, so they won't rub off with use or cleaning.
