It's as lightweight as a travel brush, and you can hold it further back on the barrel to make looser, brushlike marks. The nibs are pleasantly springy and offer good line variation, so you can easily make an entire sketch with one nib size.

Every Kakimori Fountain Pen comes equipped with a piston-fill converter, so you can use it with bottled inks. We recommend pairing it with Kakimori Pigment Ink, a water-resistant, lightfast ink offered in a gorgeous range of colors. Of course, you can use any brand of fountain pen ink you already own, too.
