Akademie Watercolors, Neon Set of 5

If these limited-edition neon watercolors seem to create their own light... it's because they do. These colors are made with fluorescent pigments, which absorb energy from light and emit it at a different wavelength. This effect creates the intense, un-photographable luminance of many neon paints and dyes.

This pocket-sized box contains five 5 mL tubes of Schmincke Akademie Aquarell in Neon Pink, Neon Orange, Neon Yellow, Neon Green, and Neon Blue. Mix them with any of your watercolors, whether they're Schmincke or another brand.

Please note that fluorescent paints are not lightfast, so they are best used in a notebook that will be stored shut.
