Clearprint 1000H Vellum, Inkblock Panel Pad
This is Clearprint 1000H Vellum, made from 100% cotton. The first thing to know about 1000H is that it's very lightweight and translucent—these are key requirements for artist vellum. In high-quality vellum papers like Clearprint 1000H, translucency is achieved through mechanical processing of the cotton fibers. This intensive process creates a stronger, more permanent surface than cheaper tracing papers produced with cellulose and chemicals.
Clearprint 1000H can be used with many different types of art media, but in our opinion, it's best with pencil and pigment ink. Those two classic tools have been used on Clearprint for generations by architects, cartoonists, and designers, and they work beautifully on this refined, extra-thin paper. Light use of wet media is also possible. 1000H is highly bleed resistant, but you may notice feathering and rippling when using wet media.
In case something does bleed through your paper, this pad comes with a handy device for keeping the next sheet pristine. Clearprint calls it an "Inkblock Panel," and it's a cardstock sheet that folds under the sheet you're currently working on. Simple and effective.
Clearprint 1000H Inkblock Panel Pads are available in blank white or with Clearprint Fade-Out Grids. The gridlines are printed in non-reproducing blue on the reverse of each page, so they're useful guides that fade out when you make a copy. (You can also take a photo and remove the grid using digital color correction.)
Each pad has 50 sheets of 16# (60 gsm) vellum. Made in the United States.

How quickly will my order ship?
Our St. Louis warehouse team is pretty speedy! We generally ship orders within one business day of receiving them. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order's packed and out the door.
How long will it take to arrive?
We offer shipping estimates for each order at checkout. Please note that these are only our system's best guess — there are many factors that may affect shipping time.
Generally speaking, our parcels take about 2-3 business days to travel to most U.S. addresses once they are shipped.
