Fabriano Schizzi is an unusually high-quality sketchbook at a price that students and beginners can afford. Made in Italy using hydroelectric power, Schizzi is a 90 gsm (60#) sketch paper, pale ivory in color, with a subtly textured surface. Double wire rings hold the pad together, and a stiff piece of chipboard serves as a sturdy backing.
We like Schizzi pads for their ability to handle a surprisingly diverse range of media. In our tests with pencil, pen, ink, and pastel, the paper held up well and maintained its working characteristics even with erasing and layering.
Available in A5 (5.8" x 8.3") with 60 sheets or A4 (8.3" x 11.7") with 120 sheets.
