About This Product
The 9852EW pencil from Mitsubishi Pencil offers an outstanding writing experience and a beautiful, environmentally conscious design. Made of recycled, unfinished wood, each 9852EW looks a little bit different in its grain, coloration, and location of the finger joints that hold recycled pieces together. It's an organic look that really stands out in your pencil cup.
Functionally, the 9852EW is identical to the more traditional 9852 and 9850 models. Mitsubishi's high-quality graphite core makes satisfying marks, holds its point longer than average, and erases well. The included black eraser is soft, not smudgy or dry. And the leads are centered in the wood body, allowing for long-point sharpening.
One dozen pencils packed in a retro box. Made in Japan.
About Mitsubishi Pencil Co., Ltd.:

Well-known around the world for their Uni brand of pens and pencils, Mitsubishi continues to innovate and release new products, like POSCA paint markers and an ever-expanding lineup of writing pens.
Fun fact: "Mitsubishi" means "three diamonds," and the name and three-diamond mark of Mitsubishi Pencil predates the better-known Mitsubishi Group by ten years. Despite sharing the same name and symbol, Mitsubishi Pencil is not related to any of the numerous other Mitsubishi companies in Japan.
