About This Product
The compact, dependable Tachikawa T-25 Pen Holder is an absolute classic, used by illustrators and calligraphers everywhere. Made from natural wood with a simple clear coat of lacquer, and smoothly tapered toward the back of the pen, the T-25 is both attractive and easy to use for long inking sessions.
Like all Tachikawa pen nib holders, the T-25 features a Tachikawa universal nib mount. The Tachikawa mount is a favorite among pros who use ink, like our resident cartoonist Curt. Unlike the Western style dip pen mount with a large, open hole and metal prongs, the plastic press-to-fit Tachikawa mount is rustproof and harder to gum up with ink. It also holds the nib much more securely than metal nib mounts, which lose their tensile strength when used repeatedly.
Please note, a nib is not included. Browse our selection of nibs and holders to complete your pen-and-ink toolbox.
Measures 125 mm (4.9") without a nib attached. Made in Japan.
