Ink Collection Cards, Set of 150

Made with Tsubame's lightweight, bleedproof "Fools Paper," these test sheets are perfect for recording the special qualities of your ink collection. Fountain pen enthusiasts will appreciate having a standard format and storage spot for ink testing, and artists who use colored inks (or even a variety of black inks, which can really vary in texture and tone) may also find these swatch sheets useful.

Ink Collection Cards come in a lovely paper box in navy blue or deep red. Either way, the contents are identical: 150 business-card sized sheets printed with a clever test pattern on white Tsubame Fools writing stock. Fill the bottle outline with a big swatch; conduct smear and water-resistance tests in the small boxes above; finally, write your notes on the lines to the right.

Cards measure 91 x 55 mm (3.6" x 2.2"). Box measures 112 x 66 mm (4.4" x 2.6"). These cards will fit into standard business or playing card files, so there are many ways to display your collection once you've made the perfect swatches.

Recommended for use with water-based drawing and writing inks only—not paints, alcohol inks, or other media.
