STAT-13 Spring Ballpoint Pen, Raw Brass

The YSTUDIO STAT-13 Spring Ballpoint Pen is made from raw brass, which develops a unique patina as you write with it. The solid construction is obvious as soon as you pick up STAT-13; its weighty and cool metal barrel invites you to hold it and start writing.

Please note that STAT-13 is not a traditional retractable pen. The mechanism on the back of the pen isn't really a button — it's actually a spring-loaded knob. Press down and turn clockwise to reveal the ballpoint tip inside the pen. This is a bit more effort than a button click, but the mechanism is much more stable, with zero wobbling or drift of the tip.

This refillable pen comes with a standard Schmidt ballpoint refill. You can replace it with your favorite Parker-type ballpoint refill; most of them are compatible with STAT-13.
