This slim metal set of woodless graphite comes from Cretacolor, a Viennese fine art materials manufacturer specializing in pencils. Monolith woodless pencils are perhaps Cretacolor's most famous product—a solid stick of graphite shaped like a pencil and coated with a thin layer of plastic. You can sharpen a Monolith pencil with any ordinary pencil sharpener and get a long, tapered point that works at every angle.
The Cretacolor Monolith Graphite Pocket Set includes all six Monolith grades: HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B, and 9B. There's also a small, high-quality eraser included in the tin.
