Watercolor Graphite Pocket Set

This elegant set of water-soluble graphite pencils offers a complete sketching palette with subdued but enticing grey tones. Three black water-soluble Graphite Aquarell pencils offer a complete range of grey tones to establish midtones and shadows, giving your drawings depth. And three tinted water-soluble AquaGraph pencils provide subtle shades of red, blue, and green. The AquaGraph pencils are our favorite: they look mostly grey when dry, but apply a wet brush and you'll see their lovely colors shine through.

All six pencils can be blended together with water for a variety of effects. This simple little tin offers a surprising amount of technical variation. Just a few examples: try working with these pencils dry, wetting dry marks, drawing on wet paper, or even pre-wetting the pencil tip for soft, dreamy lines.
