Uni 2 mm Pencil Leads, 6 Pack with Reusable Case
Mitsubishi Pencil makes the world's best wood-cased pencils, and the same superb lead quality is also available in 2 mm leads. Mitsubishi's proprietary graphite blend provides a smooth, dark line and excellent point retention. You can sharpen these leads to quite a long point without breakage, and you can write for a long time before they get dull.
A variety of thoughtful design touches elevate these simple lead refills, and as strange as it might sound, we think this everyday item is really something to admire. The clear plastic case protects your lead and doesn't take up too much space in your pencil pouch. Because the lid opens and closes securely, you can tuck away a lead you aren't using and replace it with the grade you need. The Mitsubishi name is stamped in foil on each case, and the bottom is classic Mitsubishi burgundy.
Small, color-coded strips of tape are attached to the back end of each lead, so they won't fall out of your lead holder accidentally when you're trying to advance them. And clear product information is printed on the side of each lead so you'll be able to tell them apart from other leads or reorder that one you liked.
It all adds up to a product that is truly the best in its class. They're also inexpensive, so in our opinion there is very little reason to use any other 2 mm lead.
Each lead measures 130 mm in length. Made in Japan.
About Mitsubishi Pencil Co., Ltd.:
Founded in the 19th century in Tokyo, Mitsubishi Pencil has been one of the world's leading pen and pencil manufacturers for generations. Well-known around the world for their Uni brand of pens and pencils, Mitsubishi continues to innovate and release new products, like POSCA paint markers and an ever-expanding lineup of writing pens.
Fun fact: "Mitsubishi" means "three diamonds," and the name and three-diamond mark of Mitsubishi Pencil predates the better-known Mitsubishi Group by ten years. Despite sharing the same name and symbol, Mitsubishi Pencil is not related to any of the numerous other Mitsubishi companies in Japan.
