About This Product
Made in Oregon since the early 1980s, Bob's Fine Vine Charcoal is a premium, ultrasoft artist charcoal made in small batches. It was originally the passion project of an Oregon artist, who perfected the process in his studio's wood stove. His son, Bob, started packaging and selling the charcoal to local shops and art schools, and Bob's Fine Vine Charcoal has been an in-demand art product ever since.
Bob's charcoal is made from selected hardwoods local to the Pacific Northwest. Because they are minimally processed and naturally sourced, each Bob's stick has a unique shape and slightly different size.
Two sizes are available; both are very dark and smooth. You can order a bag with 8 large sticks; 30 small sticks; or a combo bag with 4 large and 20 small sticks. All of the bags have much more charcoal than the typical package, so Bob's is an excellent value.
