About This Product
With this expertly selected, minimal mixing set, you'll be able to make virtually any color in the spectrum. We chose five of Schmincke's professional gouache colors to correspond with the CMYK color mixing system, which offers high-intensity mixes and very little risk of muddy colors.
This set is a great place to start your gouache kit, giving you instant access to most hues. It's also a nice supplement to more traditional gouache sets that may lack these high-chroma mixing colors. For designers, illustrators, and color theory students, our Modern Mixing Set is a complete solution.
For a more painterly experience, pair this set with other Horadam Gouache colors. Although you can mix any hue with CMYK, you can't mix the unique textures and visual character of each fine art pigment.
The colors included are #474 Helio Blue, #358 Purple Magenta, #220 Lemon Yellow, #102 Titanium White, and #787 Ivory Black.

With a bit of water, dry Horadam Gouache can be lifted from paper, and any paint left to dry on your palette can be reactivated with water and used again.
