Holbein Acrylic Modeling Paste adds stiff texture to any acrylic paint and dries transparent, just like acrylic medium. This Extra Coarse Pumice variety includes a high mineral content, almost like wet sand, so it also mutes colors and creates complex structures when molded with a brush or palette knife.
Mix Modeling Paste into your paints for a one-step textured application, or apply them without color and paint over the textured surface with acrylics. You can combine both of these application techniques for layered color and texture.
