Suitable for use as a workable fixative or final protective layer for media including pastels, charcoal, pencil, and ink, SpectraFix Degas Fixative is a versatile tool that makes studios safer.

Unlike normal spray fixatives, SpectraFix Degas Fixative uses no propellant or other toxic chemicals. It's based on an antique recipe from French impressionist Edgar Degas: casein, a protein from milk, provides the fixing strength, and grain alcohol is used as the quick-drying solvent.
